What to expect
Finding the right psychiatric medication can sometimes take time. When clinically appropriate, pharmacogenomic testing may provide information about how your body processes certain psychiatric medications. Results are considered alongside your symptoms, health history, prior medication experiences, and treatment goals. Genetic testing is one tool within a broader medication-management process and does not determine treatment on its own.
